then dont ask for any code that could be adapted, but ask if someone wants to adapt the code for you.
Google just launched AIY, a new Maker AI kit:
I have 2 RPI 1b+ lying around does it work well on those did someone tested?? Furthermore could someone point me to some cheap Microphones for rpi so that i can make this project?!
I think yes. Most of the work is done on the google servers
Could someone recommend me a good and cheap speaker and mic for this project?
Here is what I am using:

Thank you so much! Does the mic detect your voice when you are kind of distant?
I have tested it about 10 feet away and it still worked well.
UoU amazing!! Thank you so much I really appreciate your support.
I was thinking on buying this to be on the cheap:

What do you think ?
It should work but I do not have any experience with bluetooth on the Pi.
It probably won’t work, as I don’t see HSP listed as a supported protocol on the product page.
I have a dbpower bx-100, which has the same problem.
Raspberry Pi doesn’t support the microphone on A2DP:
Otherwise guys you could look into Mycroft (https://github.com/MycroftAI/mycroft-core), another nice voice virtual assistant -> https://github.com/btotharye/mycroft-homeassistant there is a home assistant skill already being worked on.
wake word now available.
So now my pi3 its with HASS and I can control all entities with my voice. So cool
Really can you configure the wake word? Or must it be “Ok google”? Furthermore does the synced audio works already?
wake word only ok or hey google, synched audio not yet
Hi All,
@anon35356645 did you get the SDK working with emulated hue? Tonight I have the SDK working on a RPi and installed emulated hue on default port of 8300, but right now have no idea how to make it work? Tried to use the HUE app, and it sees it on the network, but asking for it to be paired by pushing a button! I have no idea what needs doing next?
Tried to use the google home app to add the RPi but it looks like you can only add a GH by connecting to its local wifi of which it doesnt have one as a its a RPi?
it works perfectly, but I do have physical Google Home and Echo
Oh I see - so for me who only has the SDK version, there is no current way to interface it to emulated hue or other means to get it to switch on/off my devices?
I think not, according to other threads.
In any case the port for Google Home is the 80, 8300 is for the Echo only
Did you use assistantpi or just a straight install of the Google SDK?
I’ve tried assistantpi but, for me at least, it’s really flaky and I’m not bothered about alexa.
