Is there a way to get Home Assistant to call my phone when an alarm is triggered?
I have smokedetectors and other door sensor, and would like HomeAssistant to call me when I have activated the alarm? Is there an app or addon for this?
You would need a modem and landline. Or a spare cell phone (but if you have this, the commands to do anything like that could just message your current phone).

Hi, are you talking about calling, so a phonecall, over the mobile network?
If you are using the mobile app and have a mobile data plan, you could already receive notifications at a state change of these sensors.

I have been tinkering with an ESP device that can be used as a modem for the mobile network and which would work independently from HA haven’t got to working yet due to lack of knowledge. (have to pick that up again)
I use the twilio service and integration for making phone calls and sending sms messages.
I’ve used it for a couple of years now and it works great for me.
