The gauge size has indeed become very small, what was the reason for change?
Could you please also add history for entities with unit of measurement:
- W
- kW
- L (liters)
- mm (rain)
Also for counter entities a graph would be interesting.

Hi, just started using the app and I don’t understand how to set it so it sends sensor information continuously or even better, in case of a change.
The basic question is if the app needs to be up and running?
If I back out with the back button then the app closes and then it doesn’t seem to work …
I’ve tried “run in background” but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
If I go into the app again (after it’s closed) I get the latest information in HA.

If you enabled run in background for Ariela then a permanent notification should be shown. If that notification is not shown then you will have follow Ariela - Home Assistant Android Client instruction.
Thanks, but is that how the app works? That the app must always be up and running (even in the background)? It feels like the battery will drain much faster …
Yes the app will need to be running in the background in order to send sensor data, also if you are using the device tracker. Of course this will use more battery than if it wasn’t running, but I don’t find it noticeable.

Awesome! Was really looking forward to dark theme support in notification area. However, it still appears on white background for me. Am I missing something or is not working on my phone? Galaxy S10 with night mode enabled on Verizon running latest November security update (applied today, wasnt working before update either)
Also I am now missing name of entity in notification area. I tried toggling show state on/off and still not seeing names, only icons.

That’s strange. Seems that the names text color changed but the background of the notification didn’t . Let me see what i can do about it.

Also, does android let you pin permanent notifications to the top of the list. Minor request, but sometimes have to scroll quite a bit to find it

I have a feature request.
I am using a Lovelace alarm panel and there is no code necessary to arm/disarm.
The web UI does not show line to insert a code which is correct.
Ariella shows a code line and I can put any code to arm/disarm.
Can you make it the same as the web UI?

how can i set more then one wifi ssid to home location?
In Ariela -> Settings -> Device Tracker -> Wifi & Zones
- there you could add wifi names and you should assign them to zone.home
After this, go to Ariela -> Settings -> Server Connection and enable “Use internal IP when connected to home AP”
If you do this, whenever Ariela detects you are connected to a Wifi which has assigned zone = “zone.home” it will automatically consider you home and it will use the internal IP address for connecting.
Please let me know if you have any issue with it.
