I’m not sure about the phone’s black theme. I don’t think I have it, here’s a screenshot of my settings screen, which if it was a dark theme should be dark I suppose:
Ok. I will see what i can do about this.

Please test it and let me know how it goes. Thank you.
Your app is amazing, for wall mounted tablet like amazon fire is very performing comparing to web browser. You set an option to stay screen on, but is it possible to set an option to dim screen after inactivity preventing burning the screen?
Thx.
Hello,
I am glad you like the app I will add your suggestion to my todo list.
Perhaps something like dim as much as possible, then when the proximity sensor reports something , the screen goes on for a set amount of minutes. That way you can wave your hand in front of it for the screen to go brighter.
I have 2 cameras, I see the image but when I click to view live streaming, screen is black, on web interface I see the live stream, any idea?
Thx.
Hi,
Send me Ariela logs so i can check it out. Also please give more details about the cameras (like streaming format). Thank you.
Logs are send, my camera is D-LINK DCS-5020L, video format supported are H.264, M-JPEG
Hi Im tryin to setup the notifications with a stream and getting stuck. Ive used your app for awhile now, its sick man thank you.
I added the ‘mobile_app:’ to my configuration.yaml. In the app when I goto settings - notifications it shows me an example service to call and gives me a link to your documentation. Looking at your example towards the bottom I was going to test, but on the services page i do not have a notify service that is mentioned in the app…in fact i have no services related to ariela. I do use other notify services, I am very familiar with how it works…I use join and ga mainly right now. I feel like I am missing some config on the ha side so it knows about ariela…maybe? Ive looked through the documentation site but Im stuck so hoping you could point me in the right direction…
You should be able to find under your services a notify.mobile_app_xxxx such this notify.mobile_app_paul_s9’
That’s the issue. The notify service is missing.
Have you tried forcing mobile_app integration from Ariela?
From the app? I’m not sure…
I’ve added mobile_app to my configuration. From the app under notifications I click on mobile notification and it just shows the example. If I click on push notification it opens the settings on my phone for that app. I’ve made sure it has all permission and notifications are on. Did I miss something? Thank you
From Ariela -> Settings you have an option force mobile_app integration. Click on that and also check the HA log if something appear. Also if you can enable debug mode in Ariela before doing this and send me the logs after it will be great
Ah I missed that, it didnt help unfortunitly though. I just emailed you some logs. thank you for helping
ha. I just seen it is showing up under integrations and serbices now! lol, you can ignore my email. I guess your process did fix it, i rebooted my phone and ha so maybe that helped. thanks again buddy
For the streaming notification. How does that work, are you passing the url to my phone to connect directly or is there a middleman? I dont expose my ha to the internet, so my camera stream is a local ip. I use vpn when away from home fyi. I am testing at home with everything on my local network.
edit: i ask because when i get the notification on my cell and click on it, it keeps spinning like it trying to connect but never does.
Hello,
From Ariela -> Settings -> Server connection try to enable “VPN Connection” and let me know if works when you are connecting via VPN.
Indeed if Ariela can’t connect to your server, no streaming will be made.
It’s doing the same over VPN. Maybe the url?
I’m trying an rtsp stream and a stream from motioneye, Mjpeg.
