There is an autostart guide using system.d: Autostart using systemd
I tried this one and it worked well for me. 2022.2.3 version autostarts and restarts as required now. The previously used init.d daemon was removed with the following command: “./hass-daemon uninstall”. Please note that the uninstall command deletes the “hass-daemon” file as well so don’t forget to make a backup just in case if something goes wrong and you decide to go back to previous hass version and re-use init.d daemon again.
