Someone have to make pull request against the home Assistent repo.
But the code would need some clean up before it can be approved.
@gpw4888 I would love to! I donât know where to start though.
@Danielhiversen Is there a tutorial that I can follow for both the cleanup and the pull request? or at least some place I can start.
Any news on this? Iâm so looking forward to see broadlink mp1 included in ha!!
Broadlink SC1 is coming.
Hi Wenet,
That would be great! Who is working on the S1C?
What about the S1 security system? Iâd love to be able to get info from 433Mhz sensors. Anyone working on this?
If you are interested in using these sensors with home assistant you are welcome to take a look at my post:
@kahthan I think you should open a pull request here: https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/pulls Then you will be able to send your code directly
It came the sc1? _
Please add the sc1
Hello. Just to make sure im doing it right, to make MP2 work, i should add it as SP2? Correct?
Thanks!
Hi, guys!
Some lazy users can use my fork based on posts above. Note: its only temporary solution.
installation:
1.
$ pip3 install git+https://github.com/jazzina/home-assistant.git@mp1-support -U
in your hass virtualenv
I think will be better to use latest fork of python-broadlink for it (optional)
$ pip install git+https://github.com/jazzina/python-broadlink -U
2.
add to config to switch topic lines described here: BroadLink MP1, MP2 controlled switches support
3. restart hass
Once more: its temporary solution until code will be ready to make quality pull request
I cleaned above code and created a PR here: https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/pull/9222 to add support for MP1 switch
@Danielhiversen, could u please review it and advise me what should I do to merge it. This is my first time making PR into HomeAssistant.
Thanks,
I can do that when the tests pass
the sc1 now is integrated?
I ordered one long ago, and today arrived
Thatâs what Iâm hanging out for! Theyâd fill a major piece of my HA jigsaw, virtually Sonoff price without the hoops.
When I wasnât interested, Iâm sure I saw someone had got them to work by putting a different product in the profile but canât find it now I actually want some!
really? Ohh cool, if you remember please post it.
EDIT is nice object, a pity little too big to put inside the regular wall sockets. And very difficult to open, they put sort of proprietary screws, which is absurd, I need to open it to put my cabling inside âŚ
Will do but Iâm hopeful they will be included soon, I saw OpenHab have them listed now.
I was looking at binning the case altogether for a few of them when mounting inside the plaster box, is whatâs left still large?
