Why won't HA use bluetooth speakers?

HA now has a feature to detect and set up pretty rare Bluetooth devices like Miflora plant sensors. Why does this ignore Bluetooth speakers, which are far more common and requested ? Playing music and audio notifications are far more common needs. Let’s get loud with the new Bluetooth stack!

Bluetooth speakers support is really needed

Hi, I think that it’s time to implement a generic bluetooth speaker support in HA. Bluetooth speakers is really useful to play music on but even for TTS notifications. HA needs to improve here in my hopinion. This is a deal breaker for many applications and automations. Hope to see this support in the future.

Bluetooth support for speakers

I have multiple situations where I would like to play a pre recorded audio message through my speaker on an event. I’ve have about reached the end of the Internet and haven’t figured out how to make this work yet lol This seems like a standard feature that should be added to the build itself.
