The hue dimmer switch is able to send a reset signal to close 15cm devices. You need to press the I and the O for some seconds until they blink and they have been factory reset.

Why dismiss the Hue? The Hue dimmer switch is cheap (20 dollars or so) and you can use it as a switch on your Zigbee network. In have them everywhere. And you can use this one single remote to reset any Hue bulb or Hue LED strip in future. The dimmer switch can be in use for something else but when you need to reset a Philips Hue bulb you just grab it and hold it close to the bulb and press 1 and 0 simultaneously until the bulb flashes. It is actually a neat way to reset a bulb instead of the six times on off which small kids easily trigger by accident.

Hue might be an excellent choice, but within my around 140 devices in my mesh I do not have a single Hue yet. I would like to hear if there is any other options. Also in my cases floodlights are in very hard to reach positions - to get near with dimmer switch might be harder if you compare for instance “power cycling” reset.
But yes - I am very open to hear other options also.

They are sold under many OEM names but if it looks the same then it is the same. They exist in on/off and dimming versions. I use one in my hallway where I have ceiling lights designed for G4 12V 10W and I had 3 switches that toggled a latching relay. I replaced this by this dimmer, a 12 V dimmable LED driver, and 12 V dimmable G4 LEDs. I can confirm that these zigbee dimmers work great with deconz and then you have the advantage that you can still use the old mechanical walk switches to toggle the light and the status gets reported correctly back to HA via deconz.
And these are relatively cheap. So are standard LED floodlights.

I know, my current solution is Sonoff zigbee switch in my junction box and with around 5 € I have purchased nice led floodlights for outdoor use. I have 4 of those and they work just great. However I have often thought when there will be more zigbee floodlights …

thanks! I connected the stick to a PC and I discovered that it wasn’t recognized from Windows too, so I returned it to Amazon and I bought another one. I plan on not upgrade it, when it will arrive.
I just had all kinds of issues pairing to some ikea bulbs. For anyone else reading this, do not turn them off and on one extra time after resetting them.

Devices - mix of light, switches and sensors of mainly ikea and xiaomi.
Added to Home Assistant via "Configuration --> Integrations --> + "
The problem ;
Every time I restart Home Assistant the deCONZ integration breaks. Even if I restart through “Configuration --> Server Control --> Server Management --> Restart”
I have to delete the integration then add it again for it to work. Then I have to change entity IDs. Also I have automations set up like this ;
So I have to go into automations to point to the right devices again. Maybe this step could be avoided if I use “Call service” and point to entity ID instead.
I tried upgrading to the newest deCONZ software, but then I’m not able to login to the Phoscon App.
Spent the better part of today trying to solve this.
HI, I have a problem with Xiaomi agara, (temperature, humidity pressure …) Have 3 of the same I have managed to install 2 but not the third in Phoscon interface. It is the same device that does not want to install, has changed the battery. I use the same procedure to install, for all 3 devices, but only 2 devices can be installed. The third is found by Phoscon, it says ready unit, but it is not visible in sensors. Only 2 units are visible in sensors. What could be wrong. Have tried to remove the devices from Phoscon, reinstalled, reset Xiaomi devices, but it becomes the same problem, that device is not visible in Phoscon sensors. Grateful for help
Is it the same thirth sensor? Or is it always the thirth no matter which sensor is? A have 7 of them and no issues.
I am having same issue here with different Xiaomi sensor.
The phoscon UI tells “ready” after having discovered it but I cannot see it in the sensor list (and in HA too).
No way to understand why.
Yes its the same model as the other two, which works and is visible in sensors. But not the third
I have had a few Xiaomi Switches (WXKG02LM) installed for some time and have automations to trigger when it detects the deconz events.
About a month ago I have had to do an initial click on the light switches before the event is detected in HA. So to turn on the lights I would click then click again after. This is beginning to get annoying but I cannot figure out why this has started to happen.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have some issues with these switches too, but never thought of a second click. Just thought they were missing out on clicks. Have to check if that’s the case.
Sounds like an issue with devices going to sleep?
I was using the switches for at least 3-4months before I had this issue.
Is there any way to stop them sleeping?
