deCONZ - Official thread

Could you please advice on how to achieve that? :heart_eyes:

How are you running Home Assistant and deCONZ?

Guys, look here: Fix IP / AutoUpdate for Deconz with Conbee II

You have to manually change the ip address to “core-deconz” in file /config/.storage/core.config_entries

Since i done that the issue is fixed for me.

PS.: Would be nice if this can be set correctly during installation!? Any hint’s where we can make a ticket for this?

Good luck

@KaherdinTristan see my answer above!

Are you running the deConz addon?

Follow these instructions deCONZ - Official thread - #3232 by pOpY from Popy

Yes. Deconz as add-on in HA.

@pOpY and @Robban
These are the relevant entries into my HA VM “…\config.storage\core.config_entries”
What can I remove? I’m NOT using ZHA integration btw.

I cannot understand why there are still integrations that do not allow changing essential configurations via either UI or yaml. Hacking json files is horrible and risky.

For Deconz chaning IP, and API key should be part of the config settings. It is OK that you have to restart HA afterwards.

I am using the deconz ha addon and it works like a charm. I have one issue and i could not find a solution or i am to stupid to understand. So maybe you could push me in the right direction.

I use some socket switch that are able to measue power etc. Unfortunately deconz does not read these value and so homeassistant did not get these value. I learned that with a ddf file in deconz this could be solved, but i find no way to provide the file to deconz addon.

The socket switches are _TZ3000_gjnozsaz

You can, you need to use the deCONZ application through VNC.
A better option would probably be to raise a device request at Issues · dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin · GitHub (first check if there isn’t one already).

@Kars Thanks for the advice. I will defnitly try the device request option. Actual there is only an issue with the device and the solution is described.

The addon offer the deconz app access with vnc, but i did not find any way to upload a ddf file

I do have those switches and it took a couple of times to be added but I didn’t upload any file. Deactivate the auto include in home assistant because it will take more time to add into deconz the power reporting and you won’t have power reporting in home assistant

If you have a faulty api key a reconfigure flow should be available to repair the integration.

Running a new flow should update existing settings if the unique id matches.

Might be some additional error that could be considered as a trigger a reconfigure.

Regarding addons I’ve never been involved in those but none the less they generate support issues for me.

Change the ip address of the host entry to “core-deconz”.
It should look like:

“host”: “core-deconz”,

Save the file and restart HA, it should now connect also on restarts/updates…

@Robban Are there any news? Always have this message in the logs on startup of home assistant. thx

No sorry, haven’t followed it up. You can always report an issue on deconz GitHub to follow up on the issue.

Hi, I have been happily ruuning RPi4 HA (7.6) deCONZ (6.15.0) with ConBee II stick for nearly 2 years, using a mix of Zigbee devices, mostly lights. Yesterday I went to add a new lamp (IKEA Tradfri) but I’ve now got the situation where launching Phoscon app first came up with no Lights at all and now at start comes up with all blank panels & menus, “Phoscon-GW 172.30.33.3” in top right corner, no prompt to login nothing… Resets/Restarts/Logging/Searches are no help but I still have a working integration… Any ideas?
