Device Specific Custom Card Error

Hello All,

I have an older iPad and whenever I add a custom card from HACS I get an error: "Custom element doesn’t exist: … " I saw an number of people have dealt with this error however my situation is different as these cards work perfectly on my other devices. As this is a device specific issue I am at a loss how to proceed. Thank you in advance for any advice.

SOLVED - Lovelace Custom Cards randomly stopped working

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking for a while to try and find a fix for this but to no avail. I’ve got some custom cards downloaded via HACS and up to this point it’s worked perfectly fine and for some I’m also even able to see them as selectable cards in the UI. However, randomly today while adding an integration for octopi, they just stopped working. No update, no changes to the yaml, nothing. One moment the cards were showing everywhere fine, then the next the cards are replaced with the error “…

What version of iOS?

There’s a new App version (2023.12.1) live in App Store, it should fix issues with iOS 12.

I am running 12.5.7. I tried the update and now the app crashes immediately upon opening. I restarted the iPad and the problem persists. Any ideas what to try next?

I was able to get the app to start open, i just had to uninstall and reinstall. However the initial issue still persists. Should i still report it?
