That is correct, yes.
If yours is only controllable via an IR remote, I’d suggest playing around with the BroadLink IR Blaster; it’s well supported by HA.

Likely something else. Diagnostic logs from the integration will tell you if it found devices, but just not supported.
Pulled the trigger and bought the DR-HCF002S ceiling fan. Everything is working perfect. One thing I can’t seem to find, is the RGB light. Any chance you got that working? Issue 213 on GitHub talks about this fan, everything else everyone was asking for I can see, except the RGB light ring. Not the end of the world, but still a cool feature to play with if I can.
Pretend I’m a baby and don’t know how to install this on a dedicated odroid device that runs HAOS that I access through webgui.
Pretend also that I don’t know how to get to whatever homebridge is or even know how to check if I have it installed.
I can’t find homebridge in the add-on store even with advanced settings enabled and the method where you install it on a terminal here seems like its for stuff running in docker.

I actually was shown this HACS guide for DREO integration that I must’ve somehow missed or misread before, and I have this running on my HACS add-on now. It works!
The only thing I can’t seem to get it to do is observe my temperature offsets I’ve set up in the Dreo app. Do you know how to make it do that?

Please can you confirm if the DR-HSH003S and DR-HSH004S are supported? I see mention of DR-HSH003S in the /tests dir on github, but not listed in the Tested Models in the readme.
I have DR-HSH003S here (and DR-HSH004S arriving this week) and confirm that it’s seen in HA using your integration (I have the .json log file with it included) but I don’t see how to include it on any dashboards, though I am new to HA so may be missing something obvious. Anyway, let me know if I can do anything helpful towards getting it added if it isn’t currently.

From time to time my ceiling fans become unresponsive. Not even the remote works then. Only solution is cutting power for a few seconds.
Strange thing is - it happens at the same exact time. I have 3 ceiling fans by Dreo, and two are the same model (521S) - always happens to both at the same time - so it must be somewhat related to either the app, or the home assistant integration (Jeff Steinbock) going rogue and causing it.
Has not yet happend on my newest 521S-RGBic (also known as 521AS or DR-HCF007S but to both my DR-HCF001S
