Ha-fusion: A modern, easy-to-use and performant custom Home Assistant dashboard

Is there any plan or workaround to adjust the sidebar padding/margin size? The default sidebar size is a little wide and pushes the horizontal stack down a row when viewed on a tablet screen.

Browser view:

Tablet view:

While in editing mode, you can drag the sidebar wider or smaller.

you can correct the with. (right corner below, drag and drop)

Wow. I had no idea it would let you drag it. Thanks for the tip!

Hi there. Sorry for dumb question but I’m stuck at very beginning:
After instalation I open Fusion webUI and I see login popup. Entering my login and pass from my HA does not do anything.

since last update looks like an error in some situations:

Have the same issue.

I add my homeassistantip:8123 in the configuration panel but getting only a black screen.

restarting or Reinstall doesn’t help.

Very nice work, but there seems to be a certain amout of wheel reinventing going on. Drag and drop is great, but would it not be better with existing HA cards which retained their functionality?

This took hours using conventional methods. If I could put it together in 30 minutes - that would be a really welcome development!

I agree with this a little, if you allow home assistant cards, this addon will sky rocket or maybe like hki allow type: custom (which will then allow user to have their own cards of thier choice).

Just a hunch as I’m absolutely not a dev, but the reinventing of the wheel might be necessary to get the best performance. The current ha dash feels quite unoptimized and importing those cards might mean importing the sluggishness as well. Would be really nice to have the option though.

hence the suggestion of custom to allow it, I like were this is going, and allowing custom will just allow things to progress, I have picture element cards with stuff in them that only a custom button card can do

We all have something custom in our dashboards. I for example use very much conditional cards to show cards only when something is happening.

This dashboard is a pre-beta still and i am hoping that more elemements / cards will be added but i know from experience that a developer alone cannot do it. If you check the github page its full of feature requests. I assume that the developer is doing this with no income whatsoever during his free time.

For that reason i call anyone who knows how to program to contribute and help. Fork the repo, adjust, test and push back to the original.

Unfortunately i am not so good with code but i am good with graphics.

Could you figure it out? Noone knows or noone cares?

Hello,

At the current stage of the pre-beta it doesnt seem to be possible. Maybe at a later release. I would aldo like to have this dashboard as default but its not possible.

You can though save as a bookmark the link to this dashbord.

I like it can wait for it to mature especially with the sidebar

Amazing work. Can’t wait for it to be fully developed.

I copied the sample config and replaced the person entity with my own. When I press the button i get a popup with the away state. How can I get it to show the map as in the video. I have already added the map tiler api in settings.

Also how do I configure a button press to call a service with no popup.

Thanks

Updated version show the map as in the video only if you select device tracker and not person. Probably developers will fix that in next versions.
