Thank you!

I am getting an error that the port is not working.
Where can I find the port form my homebase?

This is not the home base address but the address of your home assistant server / the add on - use 127.0.0.1 if you have installed the add on; 3000 is default port so unless you changed this on the addon you can leave this.

Poh,… the last step. It was TO easy.

Thanks a lot

Goog morning

I’m the owner of a Eufy Dorrbel 2K and I followed the integration for Home Assistant following the instructions written by " fuatakgun".
Everything is working perfectly except the motion detection. The two types of detections are unavailable.

Any clue ?

Have a Battery Doorbell and lots of problems for past 6 months and gave up on it. Had a play today and it appeared to come back online with what appeared cached data but nothing live aside from saying available.

I tried a restart and got this:

2023-07-07 08:50:59.294 INFO Eufy Security server listening on host 0.0.0.0, port 3001
2023-07-07 08:51:09.544 INFO Connected to station T8010P********* on host 192.168.0.216 and port 24246

2023-07-07 09:04:06.647 INFO Client disconnected with ip: 127.0.0.1 port: 47204 code: 1006 reason: Abnormal Closure

Restarting the integration only I get now get this:
s6-rc: info: service legacy-services successfully started
2023-07-07 09:29:32.246 INFO Eufy Security server listening on host 0.0.0.0, port 3001
2023-07-07 09:29:42.513 INFO Connected to station T8010P******** on host 192.168.0.216 and port 17711
2023-07-07 09:29:42.706 INFO Push notification connection successfully established

Both from the eufy-security-ws Add-in.

The integration add-on itself shows failed to set up. Any help appreciated.

Assuming this integration no longer works.

There should be a step by step video for this. I haven’t been able to find a useful one. On a side note i don’t think this integration works anymore?

Works fine

Is anyone able to get the camera stream for the eufy doorbell 2k (T8210)?
I’m unable to get it to work…
Also really want to use the snapshot functionality which also isn’t working.

All sensors work though, which is great

Ok nevermind, it seems I’ve changed the port of the rtsp app, so that wasn’t reachable… now it works…

I like these kind of solutions:-)

Just to double check, you rely on p2p based streaming and all is working well for you, right?

(I mean 80% is good enough)

Hi, I just installed my Eufy T8210 doorbell, and the live stream works perfectly.

However, I don’t have any audio, and I’ve been searching for hours to figure out what could be causing this issue.

Please note that I’m a beginner with Home Assistant.

Yes all is working as expected right now
Thank you very much

I’m struggling with this integration also. I have the T8213 battery 2k dual camera doorbell. I’ve got eufy-security-ws and RTSP Simple Server add-ons installed and running. I have the HACS Eufy Security integration installed. All the sensors are reading and responding, basically everything is working. Except it won’t show anything for the camera when the doorbell is streaming. I can see the stream status change from idle to preparing to streaming. Then I get a gray image or the bright green broken image. After shutting the stream down, it will revert back to the last event snapshot.

I had to shift the eufy-security-ws port because 3000 was already in use, but that seems to be working fine. RTSP Simple Server was left at defaults and seems to be working. The Eufy Security integration is pretty much defaults. I’ve tried 127.0.0.1 and the IP I see in the RTSP logs for the Host IP with no difference in behavior. TCP port is left at 8554 since that is the default. I’ve tried with the Do not use STREAM option turned on and off with no difference in behavior.

I’m not sure what I am missing. From recent posts in this thread it seems some people have similar products working. Any insight would be appreciated.

As per usual, after I post the question it seems to be working now. I saw the latest system updates so installed those and did a restart. I put the RTSP Simple Server IP address in and selected the Do not use STREAM option. Then restarted both add-ons and the integration and started the camera streaming. the RTC car blow up, but the standard picture-entity one works. It’s not real time, but at least it’s throwing an updated “live”-ish image every few seconds. I guess that’s all that can be expected with this integration?

Same product here.
My experience has been very spotty getting the video to work. With the picture card, I had the same performance that you did. With the RTC card, sometimes it works, and with close to live feed (less then a second of delay).
My problem is, it is VERY unreliable for this camera. It will work on the first try only 5% of the time, which defeats the purpose of the thing. Usually a restart of home assistant, or reloading the integrations/addons will restore it, but then it will stop working. Mind you, this is just for the camera stream. The sensors all work, and I can reliably use the home base as a secondary alarm siren with no issues.
This is absolutely not a criticism of the integration, but of the camera itself, that eufy promissed RTSP upon launch, but hasn’t implemented to this day. People seem to have much less problems with RTSP cameras than the EUFY 2k using P2P.

As an owner of integration, i totally agree what you have summarized here.

Either i could not make this p2p video thingy as much as reliable it should be, or it is really fragile and this is the best we can achieve.

Earlier, i heard that homebridge version is much more reliable, i will try it soon and fix my implementation if possible.

Did you manage to get it working?

I have a T8213, installed the HACS Eufy Security integration and the doorbell is shown, with a snapshot. But cannot get a RTSP stream.

@claudermilk can you please provide some instructions how you’ve managed to set it up?

@anon63427907 thank you for developing this integration.
Is there anywhere a manual how to setup the integration?

please check here;
