Just added a second Hue outdoor sensor and it displays this
My original sensor has motion not OPENING not sure what this is can anyone help
I have reset and installed, rebooted and restarted HA but still the same

If you’re already using one of these, you’ll know that “occupancy” is the one to use for motion detection - you can rename it if you need to, to fit in with existing automations etc.
Mine hasn’t got the “opening” sensor, but I’ve had it a few years so it’s probably an older model. I never found out what “motion” did, so I disabled it - you can probably do the same with “opening”.

There’s another discussion of this here, but no real answer. It may be something Philips have added for future development. Might they be intending to link the motion sensor to the recently released contact sensor, for example?
