Install is blocking when trying to download updates. So I can only have access to console and web interface with blue circle to show log. I’m not currently behind the proxy so I can’t exactly give you URL which is blocking. What I can say is that we have access to a URL to download a PAC file (proxy auto configuration)

Hi all,
I’m trying to figure out an issue on the hass.io updater (TLS handshake timeout during docker pull), and in order to do this I thought to configure an HTTPS proxy.
I didn’t find any configuration or specific theard, so I tried the following steps without success:
configure a prerouting nat rule on hassos to forward https protocol to proxy -> it seems ignored due to a generic docker rule in first position of nat chain
configure proxy on docker daeomon -> it failed due to root fs in re…
Hello everyone!

Feature requests
I added this trust_env and it works. I would be glad if someone else suggests if this is a good idea or not.
As @frenck said in here the above suggestion may not work in all situations as there is no control over third party libraries and they way they make HTTP requests.
But I think at least we can have this option so that the official and most of the add-ons will support HTTP proxy and if an add-on will not work someone reports an issue and can fix it. Also python-requests library respects H…
Is it possible to support all plug-ins and modules (including core) including HACs, and use custom proxy server to connect specific domain names?
I suggest that the official community can support this feature. In this way, proxy servers can be used to connect to some specific servers in China or other regions (for example, the raw domain name of GitHub is polluted by the domain name). It would be great if PAC rules can be directly supported.
Although there are many ways to solve similar proble…
