Maybe using Matter?
I also see that some lockly devices already support matter:
That was my thought as well but does that mean they are ether going to push new firmware for the wifi adaptor or update the lock to support matter over BLE, I dont know enough to know if that last part is even possible
Bad news if you own a Lockly already. They are going to make you buy a new one for the Homekit and Home Assistant integration. Not thrilled that itâs a âhardwareâ update
I just called Lockly and you can apparently get their Z-Wave edition locks through this distributor⌠anyone try them yet? Search Results â UHS Hardware
iirc inability to unlock door âsmartlyâ seems to be an intentional design for security reason. My old schlage zwave lock also lets me lock remotely but wonât unlock.
I got the following response from Lockly: the matter compatibility with secure link wifi hub are still under development.
So thereâs still some hope for those having a secure link wifi hub.
Fingers crossed, I could swallow having to buy a new hub but they can jump in a lake if they want me to buy a whole new lock!
Keep those fingers crossed:
Ah so with sky connect we will be able to use lockly finally
Well, the backwards compatible matter hub is going to be $79.99 which is the same non sale price as the wifi hub. Should be able to connect into HA with Apple HomeKit locally.
Hoping existing locks can work with it. Not just their new one
Where is the matter hub? Should be out by now?
Trying to get my locks to home assistant.
Iâm a little late with this but still wanted to report on it. Looks like Home Depot accidentally sold the Visage Zeno early and some people managed to snatch it up before they realized their mistake. One guy made a thread about it on Reddit and he loves it.

I noticed it and asked him questions about Matter. As far as he can tell, there is no sign of Matter support. Not on the box or anywhere on the app. Definitely no Matter QR code as well. I assume an update enabling Matter will be coming at a later date because the Lock already has built in Wifi and doesnât need a bridge.
I love the idea of facial unlocking but the lack of Matter made me buy the Aqara U200. I love how fast the motors work to unlock. But nothing beats just walking up to your door so I will consider returning the U200 if the Visage comes out soon with Matter support.
any update on lockleys status? I have a Defender 23BLE trim edition on my store front door and would like to be able to access it via home assistant.
So it looks like we may finally be getting close to the Matter Hub. The FAQ answer for Matter Certificaiton was updated to the following:
Compatibility: Do you have Matter Certification?
Yes, we have locks that are compatible with Matter. With a Lockly Matter Link, you can upgrade your Lockly to connect with Matter. We are finishing the final production will soon be ready to ship the Matter Link.
Perfect timing, now when my fingerprint proximity sensor died.
It looks like the finger proximity sensor (not the fingerprint sensor) gave up on my lock. Have been in contact with Lockly, and since my lock is out of warranty, theyâve offered me 35% on a future purchase.
According to Lockly NZ (NCP), the matter link is coming in November as PGH260
Im right on time and hope this comes out fr this month. Im going to immediately buy oneđ¤Ł
I purchased my Lockly Mortise Lux through them, no issues.
I ordered a pgh260 last week and it arrived today. Iâm happy to report that I am now able to lock/unlock my Lockly (Secure Pro deadbolt) using Home Assistant in tandem with the matter server integration/add-on. I had my previous secure link (pgh200) on its own vlan, so I ended up adding a tagged interface on top of my existing HA network interface and then used the âextra matter argumentsâ field to set --primary-interface
to my tagged vlan interface. When I added the matter device, I connected my phone to the same wireless as the pgh260 and made sure I could still reach HA.
For fun, I added an automation that will do facial recognition using a doorbell camera, frigate, and doubletake and then unlock my door if a high percentage match is found.
Outside of the HA stuff, Iâd just like to mention that not all locks are compatible with matter. Thereâs a list of serial numbers that qualify that can be validated against; not sure if that list will grow as the pgh260 becomes more mature. Even if matter doesnât work, the non-matter functions should operate as per the pgh200 using the lockly app. I can confirm that with a Secure Lux Mortise lock that I also have. The behavior is a little strange with the Lux in that if you attempt to lock or unlock the lock, HA will block on the action, but if you complete the action using the lockly app HA will update its status.
Happy automating with lockly locks finally! Yay!
