Installed your animated adaption, but somehow my tooltip-dates are a day off…
Today (sunday) the chart is from monday until friday, but the tooltip dates are for tuesday until saturday.
Data in the chart is however correct
you certainly dont have the animated version
and you don’t have the pressure entity either?
depending on the weather entity you are using, you might have different forecast settings.
So, I guess the question is: what is your config?
Hi, i have a problem with tooltip date.
And, another question, it’s possible to move the actual temperature at right side.
Thanks
yes, change to:
.main div {
cursor: pointer;
position: absolute;
right: 0.5em;
}
on the tooltip error: do you see anything in inspector?
Chenge the line, now the temperature is on the right, but missing all animated icon.
you’re a bit brief in your descriptions, so maybe check this My adapted animated weather-card-chart · GitHub
which works for me
Ok, works now.
I had probably misspelled. What editor do you use to edit the .js file?
if I wanted to reduce the space between the forecast icon and the part with the wind, sunrise and sunset data, what should I change?
If you want, can you add a Italian translate:
it: {
tempHi: "Temperatura Massima",
tempLo: "Temperatura Minima",
precip: "Precipitazioni",
uPress: "hPa",
uSpeed: "Km/h",
uPrecip: "mm",
uVisib: "km",
cardinalDirections: [
'N', 'N-NE', 'NE', 'E-NE', 'E', 'E-SE', 'SE', 'S-SE',
'S', 'S-SO', 'SO', 'O-SO', 'O', 'O-NO', 'NO', 'N-NO', 'N'
]
},
Hello.
In my spare time, I make a new card. I would like to make it more customizable and cleaner. I’m going to publish the source code on github, so your feedback is very important to me. Is the new design better? Or is the current version preferable for you? Or maybe you can suggest something completely different? Thanks.
I would definetely go for the new version!
New version is more beautiful.
Can you add animated icon, how did he do Mariusthvdb?
Thanks
Yes. In the new version it will be possible to use the amCharts and MDI icons.
Anyone have any advice on a nice set of weather icons? (except for the amCharts icons which have already been tested)
Nice… it’s possible to test it?
tbh, I like the current design better. The balloons around the temps for each day are way too much info for my taste. As I understand the view now, these are no the popups are they, but fixed on the main view?
Second to that, the precipitation which shows on the current view seems way better separated for the temps than the large graph you’re showing in the new design, which makes it a bit confusing as to whether that is in fact not something to do with the temp…
sticking to the current for now.
The new version is released (finally). Please read the instructions. Some parameters have been removed and new ones have been added.
Release v1.0.0 · Yevgenium/weather-chart-card (github.com)
I think I agree. I’d like an option to turn off the temperature labels and just add back a single temperature axis label on the left. Other than that, I like it better. I do like the full width bar graph for precipitation, I think it’s a bit cleaner looking than the old separated bars for precipitation.
Unfortunatley I’ve had to customize the old version a lot because I like a 24 hour view and with a normal hourly weather source like the one I use, I only get 9 hours with the standard version. So I made some a fork which averages every 3 hours together and makes a 24 hour chart. I’m not a great programmer, so it’s kind of hard to port to new versions. That will probably be the thing that keeps me on the old version the most in the end.
I’d say the most important thing to me in a new version would be that we start incorporating more of the PR’s submitted by the community. There have been quite a lot of nice ones that never got merged, so I ended up just forking and putting the ones in that I liked.
Nice setup with the met.no icons. Where did you get them or could you post a zip file with them in here? And are you using the generic setup for the card with the icon path?
There is a new design. But very similar.
