Now do I need to give any commands for the service to work?
You can try it directly through debug page in service. Or create a button that call service. Look at the example before in this post. Someone share a vice card with also a homekit example.
In fact it will act as any service.
You confirm that it’s the case sensitive and my example that are false?
Yes it worked with the minuscla letter
Good night friend I use the home assistant on a notebook with virtualbox and I use a USB 4.0 Bluetooth adapter. How do I install it on the home assistant?
With virtual box you have to add the BT adapter in the vm (maybe add the virtual box invite add-on in the vm).
It will then be available in lsusb and you can confirm it with command hcitool -lescan
friend in case it would be the 5 device but the command hcitool -lescan gave error, am I doing something wrong?
It looks like everything is fine but I can’t find the machine inside the home assistant
Did you install bluez? It is needed to have Bluetooth working and hcitool.
how do i install this?
I’m trying with this tutorial, but the commands are not working
https://docs.ubuntu.com/core/en/stacks/bluetooth/bluez/docs/install-bluez
Apt update
Then apt install bluez
is correct?
Try apt-get instead?
I don’t understand how hassOS works.
@bubez81 have the same version as you and it works correctly.
You’ll have to find yourself as I can’t help more on this issue.
Could you post your logs to see where it’s not working?
How did you got hassio help or ha help on ssh?
Is ha working in a container in hassOS or something like this?
