Hello everyone,
I am building a new house and now i`m looking for smart switches to buy. I plan on having a HA instance with mixed devices, but for the light switches in HA is there any major drawback to using wi-fi switches vs zigbee ones? I like these https://moeshouse.com/products/mini-push-button-smart-light-switch?variant=45671447167291

I use wifi switches but not those (they look interesting though). There are similar threads about new house wiring etc… Here is a recent one:
Hi there ,
I’m not that versed in home automation, so apologies beforehand for any misuse of the terminology and concepts.
I’m renovating my house, and as part of that we are doing a new electrical installation. I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce some home automation. In particular:
Switches, blinds, and outlets that can be controlled physically and remotely controlled.
Sensors that I can use to define some automation.
It’s hard to find someone in my area with expertise in …
Edit: I just checked for an integration for the Moes switches and found this link. So, there might be some extra work to get them to work with Home assistant:
Does anyone use the Moes dimmer switches in home assistant and can you control the dimming and get on/off state? if it’s working how did you integrate it? local or through mylife?
