Not sure this is the right place but the last update .2025 broke marthoc/homeseer integration and I use it for all my projects. It still communicate with HomeSeer and retrieve devices fine but not all of them. I tried to re-link it but not all the devices are imported. Anything that can help troubleshot would be appreciated.
Don’t use it myself, but check this post:
Or more specifically this one:
The homseer integration repository appears abandoned. You can fork and fix it (or hope someone else does) or stop using it and use mqtt instead.
But below it is a second solution too:
So that is why I chose to point to the whole thread, as it wasn’t a very long one
@alphatech you didnt state what specifically you are using the integration for? I’m moving away from Homeseer and running both at the same time while I migrate.
Both HS Zigbee Plus & HS Zwave Plus connect to HA perfectly and both systems see/control all devices. When the automations are complete I will simply backup/restore Zigbee & Zwave from the HS4 system into the HA system and should not skip a beat as all the devices will be the same.
I’m remaking the ‘core’ events/automations first: time of day, temperature, motion, lighting. Those are easiest and helps me learn HA (Blueprints from most of what I need for theses). Then I’ll be replicating the complex stuff : House modes and security system.
I’m not yet seeing any reason to keep HS4.
Does anyone have some steps for setting up MQTT so that I can add some devices to Homeassistant that sync with Homeseer. Like Motion Sensors devices I currently have in Homeseer connected to an Arduino?
mcsMQTT can do it. checkout those thread on the Homeseer forums.
If you are going to migrate to HA completely, this may help for Zigbee. I did the same for Zwave. Soon, I’ll move Z2M and ZWP installs out of HS completely and shut down HS4.
Thanks Ltek. Wi was finally able to get some devices I needed working from HS to HA.
