how, i can see my config, but not a word of proxy or cloud in it
I don’t know how you setup:-)
How can you see it?
Again i keep seeing the clock warning.
Not sure then if its working
Are you using the addon ? Then just check the addon config?
Yes,
The addon config is just a port
It points to a Json file in your config folder, it’s all in the readme
yes i know, but how do i know if its local or not in there?
Some stuff:
“Disable_RiscoCloud”: false,
“Enable_RiscoCloud”: false,
“autoDiscover”: false,
“socketMode”: “direct”
Ip is filled in as well
You are using local… Why are you using the addon? There is an official risco integration now, supporting local, maybe use that one instead?
I cant remember why?
What are the differences?
Is it slower?
It’s an official integration, can do more then the addon, was also released later, still maintained…
The official integration has cloud as local as well i see.
I chose local then?
Do i have to get rid of the addon first?
And also the hacs integration, and the json file?
Before i start using official?
Yes, stop the addon, Mqtt also not needed anymore, indeed, use local…
There is no hacs, you are confused by something
its as fast as mqtt right?
Yes, it uses same local API, in theory it should be even faster, since there is no need for Mqtt anymore
What do i fill in as host, port and code then?
Cause when i use same settings as in my json config, it says it cannot connect…
host → i filled in panel IP
port-> 1000 same as panelport
pincode → i filled in panelpassword
is that correct?
Probably, I don’t know, I never used it , I use addon, since I need the proxy, have a look at the documentation?
Maybe you need to wait a while , I think panel only allows 1 connection, and it maybe thinks addon is still connected
theres not much documentation in it, you can use official too with proxy
yeah will see
No, there is no proxy in official version
