Risco Lightsys Alarm component

Api , will come, but official integration in HA? That will take a while… Just use another docker now , it works perfectly… I have it already live in HA for more then a year… I have some automations based on risco alarm, and also using the PIR detectors for lights, and to turn on Spotify in the morning

Mmm ok , is it safe to link it to home assistant?
Even if you have a nabu casa account?
Do you use 2factor authentication in home assistant?

How do i start this?
Dot i use the luca thing… cause i see theres an hassio addon too ,if i scroll up here.
And in what purpose will the API be a progress?

i am using the one below
it doesnt mather if you use 2fa or nabucasa, the docker uses MQTT , also the luca one
the hassio addon is not good, only luca and one below

API will be official, released by risco, probably we can use another method to get status, and probably more info to use , like cameras and whatever

Is it worth to wait for the api?

Its completely safe to use that one or the luca one? Which one would you prefer there

Is it hard to setup? I alreayd got MQTT broker running

Luca is better documented, the other one works bette using another api, is faster in status…

We might have a native integration soon:

Howly cool, that would rock !
So perhaps i should just wait for this…
Can we vote for it :stuck_out_tongue:

This would make it easier no, if it has the same possibilities

Cool, looking forward to it also, no need for mqtt and a separate docker

Hi pergola.fabio, can you get access to pis and to all other sensors of risco cluod?

I’m getting Risco lightsys2 installed tomorrow and was hoping I will be able to integrate HA and use sensors for Automations.
E.g. use pir to sense no movement and close AC or turn on light in movement…
Can thkse be done?
And I wanted to trigger the alarm’s siren according to other external sensors e.g. xiaomi pir/gas/water leak sensor…
Or by those external xiaomi sensors to triger a message/notifiction to risco phone app…

Yes, that’s possible, using the PIR sensors also for turning on Spotify in the morning when I wake up…
Allthough for lights, you need to poll it like max every 3 sec, so for lights you always have a small delay… It’s not instant

The wait is also most over! @onfreund made it possible for us!! No need for an extra docker / mqtt anymore…
You can already load it as custom or wait for 115… This will even add the extra binary sensors…

how to configure risco? it doesn’t show up in the integrations UI and there is no documentation. I’ve got home assistant dev docker image running

edit: nvm latest dev container doesn’t contain risco yet.

I just load it as custom components, working great, already testing it for 2 weeks

tried to install it with extracting the /components/risco folder from github to ha/custom components folder but i get following error:

hmm, not sure , it works here

Does anyone know if it will be available as an integration in v0.115?

Yes!! Is it’s merged

ok, i know why
at this moment if you pulled the last files, it doesnt run anymore as custon on 114.
it needs some requirements from dev 115 , so you need to run dev mode
or i can give you an “older” custom version, that will run on 114 , i use that

Yeah, i thought that the missing component is maybe part of the new core.

if you can give me a download link to the old version i would be happy to try it out before 0.115 release

offcourse https://www.dropbox.com/s/smfifvh39636dde/risco.zip?dl=0

note : if you reboot, and add the intergration, you see blanc texts and input fields, the text is not visible, only part of 115

so just enter there username / password / risco pin, then the intregration is added

the 2 checkboxes are enable/disable code arm / disarm required
the polling you can change in seconds, i have it at 2 sec , cause i use the binary sensors also to trigger light and other stuff … , less then 2 sec, not tested yet
