I created a Home Assistant Integration that is a toolkit for the Solem Bluetooth watering controller BL2-IP. It might work with more models, but it was just tested with that one.
I have one of those controllers and felt limited by only being able to use the MySolem app through Bluetooth as I could not control the device remotely. Also it’s a pain in the a** having to track the weather and make sure that I turn off the device when it rains, etc.
Solem Toolkit adds a few services to Home Assistant so you can have control of the device. I will soon create another integration that will actually use this Toolkit, but will be meant for a different purpose, namely managing watering schedules, only watering when it does not rain, etc.
