Wink/PubNub not updating

This is honeywell thermistat

I’m getting this since updating to 96 and I don’t have my thermostat setup with the wink component.

What devices do you have in wink? Do you have a log file you can share?

Which log are you needing HA or WINK?

The HA logs. You should see something early on in the file showing a stack trace for that error.

@jlvandusen that log comment wasn’t for you sorry. that was for @Dayve67

I have my door lock, garage doors and a few lights and dimmers on the wink. Here is my log after a restart:

Are you sure you are running the correct zip? Try to delete the Wink folder entirely before putting the new one in place.

yes the second one you sent worked

That’s all I see. This one don’t mean anything?

2019-07-18 20:38:24 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.setup] Unable to prepare setup for platform wink.climate: Platform not found (cannot import name 'STATE_AUTO').

Have you tried the new zip file? The error above shows you are already running a custom component for Wink. Did you have a custom component for Wink prior to having this issue?

I have not tried the new zip yet. Yes its the same custom component for before the update to 96.

Will try the new zip now.

OK it works but shows false readings now - shows Heat (its set for cool) and I have to keep refreshing the browser or click on another thermistat (ecobee) to get the correct controls - otherwise it shows the history only… very odd behavior.

Yeah, I think your old custom component is causing the problem for you. You should just be able to delete the custom component altogether and use the standard HA version.

Hmm that seems like some UI issues. Can you check the states page for the Wink climate device and see what it shows for the current state?

Error and Notification is now gone with the new custom component and even when I deleted it completely.

Thanks.
