@Eric-YoLink

Yes, I have noticed it that the API didnā€™t got disconnected since I updated to 2022.6.0b4.

Great job!

That looks like a Flume integration errorā€¦ do you have Flume water meter/flow sensors?

Yes, Iā€™m sorry pasted a wrong log. Thanks

Them of you who use or have used the yolink devices, what is your opinion about stability, interference with other protocols and such

Iā€™m not exactly a YoLink poweruser, but Iā€™ve got a healthy Zigbee and Z-wave mesh on my system as well as a blow torch Wifi mesh and since adding the one Yo-Link Contact Sensor and Hub, itā€™s work flawlessly (as well as the rest of my devices). I picked it up because it was the ONLY device that would reach my metal mailbox and deliver a signal from inside. Iā€™m impressed!

I also have Zigbee and Z-Wave devices and none of them would reach my Trash Bins, Mailbox or Garage. I now have three Yo-Link Garage Sensors for my three Bins. One Yo-Link motion sensor, which is in my Mailbox. One Yo-Link indoor contact sensor to my garage and one Yo-Link black outdoor contact sensor to my gate in the back. Also, I have a Yo-Link outdoor motion sensor at the entrance of my driveway announcing whenever anyone steps onto the property. These devices have worked flawlessly with Alexa prior to to the HA integration. I have now been testing these devices with HA and they have been working great there also. Now I just placed an order for three Yo-Link leak sensors and two Yo-Link temperature sensors.

This sounds very promising. Thanks

Iā€™ve got a house that is 110 years old, and comes with all the problems of a 110 year old house. I had to hardwire wifi into every room because the walls caused SO much attenuation with the lead paint and plaster boards (with drywall on TOP of thatā€¦grumbleā€¦), All-metal plumbing, the previous owners never even ripped out the old knob and tube wiring, so there is just all kinds of attenuation causing sources in my walls. So, understand that my house is a NIGHTMARE for wireless home automation. Zwave and ZigBee donā€™t work more then 2 rooms away from the hub. I use zwave light switches to daisy chain and boost the signal, and even then itā€™s kinda spotty.

So, when I grabbed my first set of YoLink leak sensors, I was skeptical, but their claims and reviews were promising, and the price was such that I could get 3 and a hub for the cost of ONE zwave leak sensorā€¦so I took the risk and grabbed a kit. Imagine my surprise when I had no problems. I kept pushing, and still no problems. LoRa is the ONLY protocol that works this well in my house. No crazy latency, no dropped connectivity, nothing. I have the hub hooked up in my kitchen (central room) and leak sensors all over the house, upstairs and in the basement. All of them work, all of them show strong signal (the one that sits in my crawlspace is literally surrounded by concrete and rebar and still shows a full signal).

So, TLDR, no interference caused and works VERY well. Supposedly super battery efficient as well, but I canā€™t speak to that, Iā€™ve only had these for 6 months or so, but the batteries do still read 100%, for whatever that is worth.

Perfekt, it will be some yolink when the local solution is integrated. Thanks

FYIā€¦ They have pushed out 2022.6!!!

Well, that was easy!! It found all my devices, will need to spend some time on automation but everything showed up automatically.

Great job guys!!
John

I also added the YoLink integration, and it found all my devicesā€¦ except for the vibration sensors.

Are the vibration sensors not included in this release?
Is there any way for me to add them?

Another aspect. It seems that the only way to get yolink devices for us in europe is to shop in the yolink shop in the US. Price a hub and 4 window sensors is 66 euro in yolink shop. 158 euro in Amazon.de. Just crazy.

I have been excitedly (and impatiently) waiting for the HA integration, however, I just havenā€™t been able to get it to work beyond the authentication request from HA to Yolink (or YoSmart). Even though I previously had an account through my smartphoone to enable/use my devices, this account failed to authenticate. After creating a new account from within the authentication process, it still fails with ā€œAccount info not match,Login failed.ā€ error. I have attempted to authenticate every couple of hours, without success. Please tell me how I am borking this integration.

Cheers!!

@Eric-YoLink The new integration works very well. One suggestion for future enhancement: Can you expose the battery life for each device as an additional entity belonging to each device?

do you mean like this?

Hello! This is great news! Appreciate all your hard work! I see all my yolink devices except the power strip and the outdoor plug (has the two plugs) in HA. Is this a know issue?

Only thing Iā€™m not seeing on my network is my relay.

some devices are not supported yet. weā€™re working on adding all of them. Vibration Sensor is being added now, if not already.
