YoLink integration

Since there are some questions about which devices are supported, I took the time to translate the model numbers given in the Home Assistant YoLink Integration page:

YS6604 Smart Plug
YS7103 Siren Alarm
YS7704 Door Sensor
YS7804/5 Indoor/Outdoor Motion Sensors
YS7904 Water Leak Sensor
YS8003 Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Would love to see the fobs and the light switch added!

This is really interesting. Been looking for a replacement for all my Aqara temp sensors that sometimes (not often) drops out. Have also been searching everywhere for a pool temp sensor that is not only RF or a super sensor device for 500 eurā€¦

Might actually file an order even though Iā€™m in Europe.

I assume these devices are using the LoRa frequency 915 MHz and not the European 868 MHz or am I completely wrong? (ie officially not legal in Europe?) Or are they using lower VHF frequencies (I think they are the same in Europe and NA)?

Edit: Couldnā€™t resist, just ordered some sensors and a hub:-)

Your thoughts are really interesting. I have never thought about the freaquence difference. Is this why yolink is only officially sold in US?

Would love to see valve controls exposed in the integration.

Sorry if this has already been asked.
But any time frame when the Indoor/Outdoor Contact Sensor (YS7707-UC) will be supported in HA?

Thanks

I am sorry about the slow reply. I"m not getting notifications.

Our fobs will be supported. There is a delay because they were not supported by our API, for some reason. Webhooks, for now, sorry.

Thank you. These are supposed to be in the documentation but I think weā€™re waiting on the HA folks to update it?

Here is something from a recent post in our developer/integrator Discord:

The following devices are supported in HA, Please follow the HA release log

* YS6602/4 (outlet | plug)
* YS7103/4/5 (siren)
* YS7704 (door sensor)
* YS7804/5 (motion sensor)
* YS7903/4 (leak sensor)
* YS8003 (temperature/humidity sensor)
* YS7201 (vibration sensor)
* YS7607 (lock)
* YS4909 (valve controller)
* YS5705 (switch)
* YS7A01 (CO & Smoke Sensor & Smoke-Only Sensor, due out in a couple weeks)
* YS4002 (Thermostat)

We are working on bringing the following devices into HA.

Finger

Hub
SpeakHub

MultiOutlet
Sprinkler
(& fobs)

we are using 923.3 MHz. 865.9 in Europe and something else in Japan, but I donā€™t have those handy.

So you mean you use all 3? Depending on where the customer is?

Yes I too would be interested in support for this.

I have this one (YS7707-UC) and it works even though itā€™s not on the list

Ie, do you, depending on on the customer order, ship the corresponding devices then? As you canā€™t select any variants in your webshop.

BTW, do you plan to also add European plugs?

I noticed the Garage Door Sensor is also supported (but not yet the ability to open/close the garage door).

I did ask Eric to improve the documentation such that a table would be supplied showing ALL of the yolink products, and columns for description, date and version in which each would be supported (including ā€œtbdā€ or ā€œn/aā€ as appropriate, and as things are released that table can be updatedā€¦)

Very cool. Looking to replicate. How did you fasten the sensor to the top of your filter cover? Is it just zip ties? Canā€™t quite tell from the picture.

currently only the north American version is available for sale. The others are going through approval and licensing processes.

Yes, but I donā€™t have a date. Weā€™re looking to acquire companies with existing power products that can be modified with our chip. We came pretty close to buying Insteon, for example.

I am told these should be working. They are identical to our door sensors; if those work these work.

Hi @Eric-YoLink ,

Just to double check it seem as if light switches should be supported, but Iā€™m not seeing them listed within HomeAssistant.

Thank you!

Ok, thanks for the info. I assume the low power used by LoRa for the two small temp sensors I bought will in reality not be a problemšŸ˜Š

I think the biggest problem will be id customs get eye on it they will be confiscated
