So after reflashing the cc2531 stick, my zigbee network if back running
This seams to br a common issue, as the reflash is what is suggested in places
I heard it before. Never had this issue myself ( but I donāt use a CC2531 anymore, switched to a CC2530 connected to an ESP01)
I hope some of you can help me.
Yesterday i upgraded HA to version 0.109.2 and everything is still working fine, but i have to restart the Zigbee2mqtt plug-in to get my sensors working. When i reboot HA, i donāt get any sensor updates.
I checked the log but cannot find anything special. Maybe itās worth to update the Plugin, but i am wondering how i can fix this.
Currently i am running 1.5.1 ( i know, very old ) , with the following firmware : 20190425. My questions:
Can i upgrade from 1.5.1 to the current version without updating the firmware , and if so, will it work or do i have to do some additional configuration on the Zigbee2mqtt plugin ? And will this in the end fix my issue with the manual start of the plugin to get the Xiaomi sensorās updating again ? I know, a lot of questions, sorry for that!
I think you can just update without changing the firmware. But please read this warning since you come from 1.5.1
Iām not sure but I thought that when I updated from there, the new Z2M plugin needed a network key and since I did not have that, I needed to repair (not sure the missing network key was the cause). Read the warnings I mentioned before.
Hope you have enough information. I would just update and if there are problems I think you only have to repair the sensors.
Thanks! I only had to add : availability_blacklist: to the configuration of Zigbee2mqtt. After that it worked!
Can anyone tell me if itās possible to get effects on Ikea Tradfri bulbs?
I have a few of the RGB ones connected to home assistant via Zigbee2MQTT and donāt see any effects listed in the controls for the bulb.
I kind of expected to see disco mode, Halloweenā¦ etc but iām only seeing simple bulb brightness/colour controls.
Hi @TriStone,
I see in one of your posts you have an external antenna attached to a CC1352P-2. I had assumed that you could simply attach the antenna to use it but you mentioned you had to resolder a capacitor to do this. Could you elaborate a bit more about that please? I am looking at getting into Zigbee stuff and the CC1352P seems to be the way to go to get support for the sub-G bands that Zigbee 3 devices might use in the future.
Hi @EmnaX
You can check at Z2M forum for this, especially this link:
Unfortunatelly it really seems that you have to resolder the capacitor to switch the path of the signal, no other way.
But to be honest the improvement compared to built-in antena is not so big as I hoped. It is measurable in link quality provided by Z2M (10-20 points) but it is not a game changer.
Hi, is anyone having issues with the temperature sensors? Mine stopped working properly few days ago, they are not refreshing like before. I made a post asking for help but maybe here I can find more people with the same issue. I am using xiaomi aqara squared ones.
yep, me too, iāve force removed the sensor and readded it again, no problems now,
Hi! Thank you for the info, how did you force removed the sensors? I am trying to remove them from the devices menu in configuration but if I reboot they appear again, and they are still not working properly.
Easiest way is using zigbee2mqttassistant :
iāve used this metod
Thank you all, it works!
I just use a USB extension cord for the atenna and then added a few ikea zigbee repeaters. Was cheap and easy and meant I didnt have to mess with a working solution
Admittedly, I havenāt read the entire topic and doing a search hasnāt given me the answer butā¦
I thought I saw somewhere that the HUSBZB-1 stick will now work with Zigbee2MQTT.
Is that correct or am I only imagining that I saw it?
It is not on the list of supported adapters
You may be thinking of conbee support.
I saw that but since I could have sworn I saw support was added for the HUBZ stick I figured Iād ask here in case the docs hadnāt been updated or some such.
Maybe but that doesnāt ring a bell.
But I think I had it backwardsā¦
It must have been that the ZHA component had added experimental support for the TI zigbee radios that I was thinking of.
