I am seeing this too on iPad.
For example, on occasion if I go to the Energy page, and nothing updates.
I then try turning something on / off, but nothing happens.
A force close fixes it.
yeah, I see the same on all of my iOS devices (iPad and iPhone), both on latest version 15.0.2.
While a force close “fixes” it in that session, I’m hopeful we can find a way to make the app work without having to force close it every time I open it to take an action on my home.

not only ios have this issue, not the same issue of ios app freezing, just no action triggered. I’ve also noticed it on Edge browser on Windows PC. is it a bug of the frontend?

The issue started with iOS 15 on iPad… the UI does not refresh (sensor data), buttons or sliders react but do not show any function.
Since the update yesterday to 15.1 I do have the feeling is now better

I myself have the same experience. Today I also had that icons were not visible but the button still appeared to work.
This doesn’t really help to keep the WAF up to par! I hope for a quick fix!
Same on my iPhone 12 mini. Sometimes only actions don’t register, sometimes the whole ui is frozen and I can’t even close graphs for example. It’s close to useless due to this issue, it happens every time I open the app.

The app now has to be manually refreshed just about every I open it (even though I just briefly multitasked out), and the refreshing takes a weirdly long time. Quite a hassle to use now, hope this can be fixed.
Yep same here. Everything I go back to the app once I’ve initially opened it, I have to force quit it and restart it to get it working again.
I’m dealing with the same issue.
Please upgrade to iOS-2021.12.1 and core-2021.12.6, which includes fixes that work in tandem to hopefully address the problem. core-2021.12.4 and core-2021.12.5 had a bug which caused the page to blank out when the workaround was attempted.
Are you sure, this is app related?
I observe the same on Android but also in the webbrowser.
This started with HA version 2021.12.6.
I reverted back to 2021.12.5 and everything is fine again, in browser AND app.
Edit: apparently there is an open issue and a fix is coming with 2021.12.7
