My panel was linked up in this email thread, but here’s version 2.0:

It’s based on the Raspberry Pi and a full-HD 15" touch screen with a 3D-printed cover frame. It can be easily extended to even larger 4k screen if someone needs it, but I didn’t. Raspberry can also support dual display. In either case 3d-printing a cover for such setup might be a bit of a challenge because of the size. I had to print my top and bottom cover in 2 parts and connect them.

Software wise, working with raspberry is much more pleasent than with an android tablet. Kiosk mode with Chromium is trivial to set up. I’ve also set up a simple mqtt based heartbeat and command interface so basic commands like screen refresh, screen on/off, system restart, etc are sent from HA. In the hearbeat, PI reports CPU and mem usage, temperature and power failures.

For anyone thiking of building similar, bear in mind that reliable power delivery to PI is absolutely essential. USB cable sucks for this purpose.
